SAN FRANCISCO—Courtney Trouble and TROUBLEfilms are excited to announce they have received no fewer than 10 nominations for the 2015 AVN Awards. Trouble is up for the second year in a row as BBW Performer of the Year, as well as for the fan-voting category Kinkiest Performer. Trouble additionally appeared in Aiden Starr's Curvy Casting Couch, which is up for Best Solo Release, and, alongside Siouxsie Q and Maxine Holloway, is up for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene for their performance in San Francisco Lesbians: SCISSR Sex App from Pink Velvet/Smash Pictures. Pink Velvet, which is fronted by Trouble's production team, has also received a nod for Best New Imprint.
Performer Chelsea Poe, star of Fucking Mystic, received a Trans Performer of the Year nomination. Fucking Mystic itself is up for Best Soundtrack, thanks to the musical mastery of William Control. James Darling, head of FTMFucker, was also nominated for Trans Performer of the Year, alongside his film Trans Man Adventures, up for Best Trans Release. Rounding out the list is the collaboration between Tobi Hill-Meyer's Handbasket Productions and TROUBLEfilms, Doing It Again: Volume 1, which received a nomination for Best Trans Release as well.
