MARINA DEL REY, Calif.—Chanel Preston added The Galaxy Award’s Best New Female Performer honors to her growing resume last week. The selection of Preston was decided by a combination of fan votes and a jury panel consisting of the adult industry’s top stars and principals. Preston was a unanimous choice by the jury of her peers.
The award is the fifth new starlet honor bestowed upon Preston, confirming her placement as the industry’s “It” girl. She is currently nominated for similar awards from the XRCO (X-Rated Critics Organization) and e-tail site TLARaw.com.
In its first year, The Galaxy Awards are organized by Spanish website MilkyWayChannel.com.

The Galaxy Awards’ star-studded jury panel consisted of Jenna Haze, Katsuni, Mick Blue, Lisa de Marco, Dianna Doll, Lisa Ann, Holly Randall, Dylan Ryder, Brandon Iron, Devan Cypher and Toni Ribas. All of the performers, directors, photographers and principals unanimously voted to honor Chanel as the 2011 Best New Female Performer.
Katsuni says, “I had the opportunity to belong to the jury who voted for The Galaxy Awards’ US category. To be honest, I had no hesitation at all when it came to vote for Best New Female Performer. Since she started, I’ve always heard great things about Chanel Preston, and I even had the chance to do a scene with her. This young woman has all the qualities to be a real star. Of course Chanel's beautiful, has incredible legs and looks like a model, but most of all, she’s one of the performers motivated by the right reasons. She loves having sex, and she does it so well!
