Cameryn Moore Brings 'Phone Whore' to LA for Two Nights Only

LOS ANGELES, CA — Phone sex. Everyone’s heard about it and many have engaged in it. But what about those who pay for it; those whose fantasies have only been shared or confessed to a professional? Cameryn Moore’s award-winning play goes deeper onto the world of aural sex than anyone has gone before — and now she’s bringing, Phone Whore, her taboo-confronting one-woman performance to Los Angeles.

In town for two nights only, Moore will guide audiences through the mysterious world of a phone sex operator. The world of Phone Whore is a world unlike any they can imagine unless they’ve been there themselves.

One Ottawa Fringe attendee stated that, “I haven’t been shaken by a piece of theater like this for quite a while” and RoverArts.com proclaimed Phone Whore to be “… by far the most intimate and insightful theatre experience you’re likely to have.”

Phone Whore is the Pick of the Fringe (drama) award winner from the 2011 Victoria Fringe Festival and received the Judges’ Honourable Mention from the 2010 Ottawa Fringe Festival. Moore, herself, was presented with the Best Female Solo Performance award from the 2010 San Francisco Fringe Festival.

Truth and taboo will collide on Friday and Saturday, October 14 – 15 at The Loft, located at 743 North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, CA. Doors open at 7:30 pm PST and Moore beings to weave her web of verbal intimacy at 8:00 pm PST. Moore will participate in a question and answer session immediately after each show.

Tickets for this insightful and sometimes shocking play are $15 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets and $20 at the door.

Phone Whore is for mature audiences only.
