MELBOURNE, Australia — Adult's top manufacturers and content producers are heading Down Under for Adultex 2009, set for March 27 - 29 at a Melbourne resort.
Now in its fifth consecutive year, Adultex has cemented its position as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest and most successful adult B2B trade fair. Founded and managed by Calvista Australia, the commercial event allows invited industry retailers to meet with company owners and sales reps from leading adult companies such as California Exotics, Doc Johnson, Topco, Pipedream, Pjur, Tantus and Sportsheets.
"Adultex is a fantastic trade event," said Calvista Australia CEO Michael Bassett. "It brings together adult retailers, manufacturers and studios for three days of focused information exchange, new product releases, seminars and buying, without the distractions of consumer shows. Adultex 2009 was sold out within one week and we are already looking for a larger venue for 2010.
"We’re honored to have the support of so many of the world’s leading brands," Bassett said. "This year we have additional sponsorship from Kama Sutra, celebrating their 40th anniversary, and The Screaming O. It's going to be another top show."
Media producers attending Adultex 2009 include Vivid with Nikki Jayne, Digital Playground with Stoya, Private with Tarra White, Evil Angel represented by its founder John Stagliano, Titan with Marco Blaze and Channel 1 Releasing's Chi Chi LaRue. The event will be held from 27-29 March 2009 in a resort near Melbourne.
Calvista is a division of publicly traded AdultShop.com.
