MARINA DEL REY, Calif.—Inscrutable journalist-cum-blogger and exceptionally tall fellow, Gram Ponante, has selected fast-rising adult star Chanel Preston for his special award, the Ropey Volley (Pornographers to Watch Out For).
“I didn’t expect that at all from Grams,” Preston said. “Not that I’d say he was premature,” she quickly added. “But being chosen by him as a newcomer to keep an eye on—it’s pretty nice. Yes, let’s say it’s nice.”

He did not say, of the Alaska native and transplanted Hawaiian, “I love Chanel more than moose musubi,” but he might have given half the chance.
