HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—UK adult star Tanya Tate has weighed in on the online “porn blocking” that has begun in England. Tanya’s industry is under fire as the UK government has imposed an ISP blocking system on adult entertainment. Now, citizens will automatically encounter “family friendly” filters and have to initiate steps to access adult material. Something Tanya disagrees with.
“I think it is very frightening and wrong that Prime Minister Cameron has imposed these restrictions,” said Tanya. “While I whole heartily agree that children should be kept away from adult material, I believe it is the responsibility of the parents to monitor what their children are getting into. Why should my, or any other responsible person’s, viewing habits be restricted because others choose an auto-pilot approach to parenting?”
