LOS ANGELES—Adult performer Bobbi Starr, known by fans for her work in video, expands her literary repertoire with a regular column in Fox magazine and contributions to two mainstream websites. Starr's column for Fox, "Adventures in Pornyland," will be written in her stream-of-consciousness style and will detail both the daily grind of life on the set and the most memorable thing that happen each month.
She also contributed her five favorite romantic comedies to FilmInFocus.com, the editorial website of mainstream film producer Focus Features, for Valentine's Day. A fan of heavy metal, Starr will also post on the ironically named hard rock website MetalSucks.com and will continue her weekly blog entries for Popporn.com.
"I have a lot of creativity and I'm very happy that I have all these ways to express them, whether it's on camera or through the printed word," Starr said. "As my fans know, I have a wide range of interests. The varied subjects of my involvement—from being in adult movies, to writing about them, giving my opinion about metal and listing my favorite romantic comedies—reflects that."
Starr's column in Fox will premiere in April and her weekly posts in MetalSucks.com will begin in March. Starr’s blog on Popporn.com is updated every Friday. To view Starr's five favorite romantic comedies, visit FilmInFocus.com/article/bobbi_starr.
