LOS ANGELES—Holland’s #1 pornstar Bobbi Eden has just won two awards at the first ever Dutch XXX Awards—Pornstar of the Year and Industry Personality of the Year after a fan and industry vote.
Bobbi calls Hollywood home but has been all over the mainstream Dutch press and news after her recent appearance on Jokertje's Jawoord (“Joker Ties the Knot”), recently filmed in Las Vegas and airing on Holland TV RTL5. This week, Bobbi made headlines after being picked by notorious Dutch singer and television personality, Gordon (@GordonBlaricum) to appear in his upcoming music video. On Saturday, Eden appeared in "RTL Late Night", one of Holland's most popular late night shows. The program was the 4th most watched show of the day in Holland. Bobbi also was on the "Coen & Sander" show, "BNN Today", "Inside Gamer", "RTL Boulevard", "SBS Shownieuws", "Spuiten & Slikken" and "RTL Late Night." She was also interviewed by Dutch NOS News about the HIV scare hitting the adult industry in Los Angeles. Upcoming appearances on mainstream television include "Rayman is Laat", "Haags Dictee" and "Start van de Nacht."
This weekend, Bobbi will be one of the headliners at the KamaSutrA festival in Utrecht, and on October 12, she will host the Van Dijck Bar Halloween fest in Amsterdam.
The mainstream media interest underscores Eden's continuing crossover appeal to the Dutch public. A sports car featuring her image competed in the European CannonBall Run, and she also became the first adult star to be an official sponsor of a line of clothes at the Amsterdam Fashion Week. Bobbi is also penning her autobiography for Holland's biggest publisher, Nijgh & Van Ditmar; it is expected to be released in Spring 2014. Bobbi is part of Vicky Vette's VNA Network; her official site is nominated for for Best Website at the upcoming The Sex Awards.
