MACAO—Now in its third year, the Asia Adult Expo (AAE)—the premier showcase for adult products and entertainment in the Far East—takes place Aug. 20-22 at Hall D of the Venetian Macao.
This year, AAE has invited many Japanese adult stars to heat up the atmosphere. According to Kenny Lo, chief executive of AEE organizer Vertical Expo Services Co., “Japanese companies in the industry are facing keen competition within the country. They would like to find new markets not only to promote products but also Japanese culture. This will help stimulate more demand for the industry. AAE is the best platform for them to explore other markets out of Japan.”
Popular Japanese adult actress Kayama Mika is a pioneer for her work shooting in 3D. Another big star who will be in attendance is Mihiro, who just left the adult movie business this year and is now performing in mainstream TV shows and movies. Both of them will be singing on stage.
Apart from the above-mentioned performers, Seven Under will join hands with Hayasaka Hitomi and Yokoyama Miyuki. They will be promoting special items that are sold only in Japan, such as the photo book Mosatsu, T-shirts and other items that are popular with Japanese youngsters. And Japanese actress Minako Komukai will be on stage of AAE fair for the first time.
Japanese adult entertainment and novelties suppliers Soft on Demand is returning to AAE with the latest product, the Soft On Demand Mobile Denma. This new product, part of the popular Tenga masturbator series, is a tiny massager that is only 5.5 cm in length. According to SOD, it is the world’s smallest massager.
This year, SOD is joining hands with Asakusa Rockza to attend AAE. One of the largest entertainment providers in Japan, Asakusa Rockza will be inviting four of its top professional dancers to appear at AAE. They will perform a special version of “Tokyo Nights” tailor-made for the fair.
On the first show day at 6 p.m., there will be a welcome reception in Hall D of the fairground. The reception is sponsored by Baci Lingerie & Nanma Manufacturing. Media, exhibitors and invited guests are welcome.
Starting at 3 p.m. on Aug. 20, the show will be open to general public (age 18 or above).
