LOS ANGELES—Anikka Albrite spent plenty of time on stage at the 2015 AVN Awards, where she won multiple honors, and then later in the year she was named Female Performer of the Year in three different awards show. Now she’s making AVN Awards headlines months before the show even happens with the announcement that she’ll be hosting the 2016 AVN Awards Show.
Albrite and Joanna Angel will be the co-hosts for the industry’s most famous event. Albrite is one of a handful of performers who have won the Performer of the Year award and returned to host the awards show.
The announcement was made on TMZSports.com, with both Anikka and Joanna revealing the news (here's the click on YouTube.com).
"It was a huge honor to have been given the title of Female Performer of the Year for 2015, and never in my dreams did I think I would be chosen for hosting the awards for 2016," Anikka told AVN. "I'm really honored and excited and very nervous. I can't wait to host it with Joanna—I've never worked with her before but I've always admired her, so it's going to be a lot of fun to get up there on the stage with her."
This weekend Albrite and husband Mick Blue will be at the Exxxotica Dallas convention. It will be held August 7-9 at the Dallas Convention Center, 650 S. Griffin St., Dallas, TX 75202. Go to TX.ExxxoticaExpo.com for more information.
