LOS ANGELES—In a time of New Year’s resolutions, addiction may not be the best way to kick off 2011, but with a freshly minted AVN Award in each hand, Alexander DeVoe knows just what the people want: the highest quality black ass. The award-winning director took home two awards last weekend at the 2011 AVN Awards in Las Vegas.
His 2010 venture Black Ass Addiction 6 (Alexander DeVoe Productions/Jules Jordan Video) starring Imani Rose, Taylor Starr, Ms Platinum, Jordan Love and Samone Taylor, took home the Best Ethnic-Themed Release – Black award, while the overall franchise got the nod for Best Ethnic-Themed Series – Black. The director received 10 total nominations for the 2011 AVN awards. DeVoe started the series in 2007 with a meticulous eye for casting “only the best black booty” and aimed to showcase the best black talent in three hours of visceral sex-charged encounters.
"I love shooting anal sex scenes. There's just something about it that brings out the primal beast within girls when they get in up the butt. Big thanks to AVN, performers, fans and supporters of Alexander DeVoe Productions for once again affiming me as the supreme producer of black adult entertainment," DeVoe said.
DeVoe, who started out as a performer in 1999, began directing in 2001 and has since directed over 100 titles.
