VENICE, CA — Mick Blue has the opportunity to pick up another major award this weekend at the 2015 XRCO Awards. Blue, who won Male Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards in Las Vegas in January, is nominated for the same award at Saturday night’s XRCO Awards.
A win for the Austrian would make him only the second Male Performer winner in history to have been born outside of North America.
“I can’t think too much about awards, but of course it would be wonderful to win,” Blue said. “In truth, I’m mostly hoping that my beautiful wife Anikka Albrite will win another Female Performer of the Year award!”
Blue and Albrite just returned from an anniversary vacation spent on an island in the Indian Ocean, but even while they were taking it easy, several movies starring Mick were making their way to shelves. New titles with Mick include Sex with the Babysitter from New Sensations, Evil Amateurs from Jonni Darkko/Evil Angel, and The Family Dynamic from Digital Sin. He recently completed directing American POV 2 for Magma Films, which will be available this spring.
