CYBERSPACE—In less than a year, more than 400 independent models, clip creators, audio artists, phone sex operators and web cam perfomers have joined the first performer created site teaching marketing specific to the porn industry.
Amberly Rothfield, author of How I Made 10k A Month as a Phone Sex Operator, has created a website where she uploads videos, PDFs and explains how to get market share in the current state of the industry.
“After getting rave reviews about my book, I knew I had to do more. This industry is ever evolving and writing a book every few months was not feasible. So I created a site with Model Centro in order to get information out faster,” Amberly said.
The site currently has 200-plus videos and 15-plus infographics detailing how one can better understand customers and also increase their current income. Amberly has taken special care to ensure her prices are affordable. While many on Twitter have noted that she could charge four times the amount she does now, Amberly stands by making sure the people who truly need the information can afford it.
“While our team has grown, and we do intend to increase the prices this month, I will still stand by my morals. I came to this industry with nothing and want to remain a place where people can get solid information for affordable prices,” she said.
The site currently is $24 per year and will be going to $48 per year on May 18. This still only works out to $4 a month. Amberly’s mission is to help those who desire to make it in the adult industry realize that dream.
