MIAMI—Trans500.com, the award-winning transsexual mega-site, has reached a social media milestone, having garnered 100K followers on Twitter.
In the age of social media, it's almost a necessity that production companies stay engaged with fans, potential subscribers and DVD buyers by interacting with them via their platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Trans500 was established in 2013 and continues producing weekly exclusive content for its flagship site, Trans500.com.
"We encourage interaction and love hearing constructive feedback and comments from followers," said Trans500 social media manager Wendy Williams.
"Social media has become one of the biggest marketing tools for companies. Therefore, we take it very seriously," noted producer Josh Stone. "Fans and models are the backbone of our sites, so having online presence to interact with them is imperative to our success. Wendy not only keeps our feeds active but relays feedback to us whenever I am away shooting. I love scrolling through our social media accounts, answering questions or searching for fresh new faces to feature on our sites."
Trans500 may be followed on Twitter and Instagram. Subscribers to those feeds get first looks at upcoming scenes, links to press releases, interviews, behind the scene photos and videos, plus they get to interact with social media manager Wendy Williams.
Trans500 won the 2015 AVN Award for Best Transsexual Release for its feature TS Girlfriend Experience 3. In 2016, its feature Kaitlyn Gender: Based on the NOT so True Story took home a Transgender Erotica Award for Best DVD. Pornhub in 2019 awarded Trans500 as the Most Popular Trans Channel, and in 2020, the site won the YNOT Award for Best Trans Paysite.
