LAS VEGAS, NV—Venus Lux wears many hats: Porn star, pioneer, producer, director and owner of Venus Lux Entertainment—and this week, the transgender star is heading for the AEE Convention at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 24 through January 27. Her action-filled week will include media interviews, AVN and Kink booth appearances, plus a special seminar moderated by Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals called, “Slut Shaming and Troll Training,” featuring fellow panelists Janice Griffith, Mia Li, Nikki Night, Liam Riley and Jacky St. James.
“I am so excited to be heading to the Hard Rock for the 2018 AEE show. It will be a wonderful time when I reconnect with my fans and fellow performers,” said Venus. “I am especially looking forward to the seminar on Friday. I feel it’s my responsibility as an entertainer to not only educate the masses, but help the newcomer performers. I am fortunate to be in the position to spread sex positivity with important forums such ‘Slut Shaming and Toll Training’ and I hope we get a good turnout for this.”

The hurtful comments can reach beyond the internet, even sometimes coming from other adult industry workers. Performers are invited to join in an exploration of how to deal with the hostile language of slut shaming.
