Aubrey Kate Takes Home Three AVN Awards

LAS VEGAS, NV — Multi-award winning performer Aubrey Kate took home three AVN Awards this past weekend, including the coveted Transsexual Performer of the Year Award for the second year in a row.

“This year I was definitely a little more nervous than last year,” said Kate. “In 2017, I had already been nominated for Transsexual Performer of the Year three years with no wins. I wasn’t expecting to win this year, let alone to take home three awards.”

Kate took home three awards that night for Transsexual Performer of the Year, Favorite Trans Cam Star, and Best Transsexual Sex Scene (for her scene with Adriana Chechik in Adriana Chechik is the Squirt Queen).

“When I heard my name called by Nikki Benz and Nicolette Shea, I legit screamed with joy and ran to hug my sisters before going up on stage. It all happened so quickly, like, I closed my eyes this past year and suddenly it was over. Winning AVN two years in a row is the biggest honor I’ve ever achieved. 2017 has been a year of firsts, so many awesome projects, like my showcase with Evil Angel and starring in Jessica Drake’s showcase alongside Jessica, Venus Lux, and Domino Presley.”

Kate spent her time signing exclusively at the Evil Angel booth during the AVN Expo, and promoting her new showcase with the company, Aubrey Kate: TS Superstar.

“I got to sign with five beautiful women, and was exclusive to the Evil Angel booth. I felt like a pornstar for once,” Kate explained. “They walked us down to our booth, gave us angel wings to wear, and even gifted us our own customized Evil Angel robes! This year I was at the biggest booth in the Joint, and even had ropes to form lines. I felt like a million bucks.”

Kate also lent her voice and expertise by speaking on the AEE Seminar: Make That Connection moderated by Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals, covering topics like social media and growing a brand. She was joined by co-panelists Lindsey Banks, Jenna Sativa, and a representative from Stripchat.

Kate added, “Public speaking has always been hard for me, but starting to speak out more often is getting a little easier, but still scary to me. People don't realize I have a shy side. 2016 and 2017 were amazing for me. I have a few really big projects in the works that I’ll be able to announce soon. I feel very special and honored, and I can't wait for all my fans to see what the future holds.Thank you so much AVN for recognizing my hard work. I can't wait to come back to the 2019 awards and show you how much further I have grown.”
