CHARLOTTE, N.C - Adult social networking site xPeeps celebrates its three-year anniversary this month.
Now claiming more than a million members, the website debuted in 2006 and is now one of the biggest adult sites on the Internet. Site members include thousands of adult stars, studios and directors, as well as amateurs seeking to break into the business, cam girls looking to draw more viewers, and throngs of adult industry fans.
Powered by adult video-on-demand provider AEBN, the site boasts an array of features including the Casting Couch, xPeeps Live, adult news, movie reviews, and other industry-related content.
"We set out to be a resource for the industry and that's exactly what we've become, among other things," said xPeeps spokesperson Suzann Knudsen. "We want everyone involved to look at us as the community for the adult industry and I think we've succeeded in that."
Last spring, xPeeps began hosting a series of parties free to members, co-hosted by some of the biggest names and companies in the industry, including Red Light District, Adam & Eve, and Zero Tolerance.
"We connect fans with their favorites in adult in a big way," Knudsen said. "That's probably one of the things I love best about xPeeps."
The site is planning further additions and upgrades in the coming year.
"We've got a lot of momentum from 2008 built up," Knudsen said. "We're not ready to slow down."
