CYBERSPACE—BDSM website Wasteland.com recently launched a contest giving members the opportunity to put themselves in the director's chair.
Winners will be selected via a monthly drawing, and then brought in via Skype to direct the action.
"We have been holding crowdsourcing contests like this for over 20 years now," Wasteland director Colin Rowntree said, "but by adding in the live Skype video interaction during the shoot, I anticipate that this is going to bring a whole new exciting element into this as the member is actually 'on set' with our cast and crew for a unique behind-the-scenes look at a shoot and to be able to provide requests and cues to the actors."
