CYBERSPACE—On Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, Touch.tube will officially launch. Touted as the first website to allow fans to "get paid to watch porn," the site is powered by Vice Industry Token (VIT). Touch.tube is a free website where anyone over 18 can visit the website and earn VIT tokens by watching videos and making comments on what they've watched.
Vice Industry Token is working to tokenize other websites by the end of the year, including the recently announced Tube8.com, ElegantAngel.com and the official Stormy Daniels website.
Although Vice Industry Token had originally planned to launch on June 28, the company missed the targetted deadline in order to ensure the whole system worked smoothly when the site finally did move forward. Now, VIT reports that crowdsale contributors and fans are looking forward to the launch with enthusiasm.
"We have a backlog of more than 70 adult websites that will be joining VIT in the coming weeks," said Stuart Duncan, CEO of Vice Industry Token. "This will bring the list of VIT-powered sites to well over 100, and we’re always adding more. If there’s any project that will push mass adoption of cryptocurrency, it’s VIT. After tomorrow, anyone will be able to sign up for a free Vice Industry Token account by going to Touch.tube.
