'VanillaBeast: Ace in the Hole' Game Launches Kickstarter Drive

CINCINNATI, Ohio—It’s been nearly a year since the Vanilla Gaming Company announced video game "VanillaBeast: Ace in the Hole" to the adult industry, and now a Kickstarter campaign has been launched on to help fund the game.

“We’re looking to make the biggest and best game featuring legendary adult film stars in the history of gaming," said Neil Herrin, president of developer Vanilla Gaming Company. "I’m honored and feel very privileged to work with legends such as Jewel De’Nyle, Eva Notty, Kasey Storm, Coralyn Jewel as well as rising stars like Anna Claire Clouds. VanillaBeast is a fun and light-hearted mature humor game that is going to make you feel like you’re gaming in the '90s again. We’re also tackling some of the current issues these stars face like shadow banning, account lockouts and discrimination in general. We’re doing it all whilst making sure you’re laughing and having a good time.”

"VanillaBeast: Ace in the Hole" features a variety of gameplay styles that hearken back to favorites such as "Mike Tyson’s Punch Out!," "Punisher" and "Friday the 13th" on the NES, the "Leisure Suit Larry" games, and many more. Each adult star plays herself in the game with full voiceover work as they help Vanilla thwart the evil deeds of a mystery villain who is removing the nightlife from their town.

“I cannot wait for this to come out! Being a part of this project is beyond exciting!" said Storm. "I’ve been playing games since I was a kid, and this brings me back to my Atari, Sega and Nintendo days. It has such an exciting retro feel! I’m just totally blown away!”

Adult actress and director De’Nyle was recently brought onto the project and offered, “I think this game is great and I really appreciate the passion Neil is putting into the game. The '90s were a great time and I think anyone who was young and lived through them will agree anything that takes us back to that time-period is something we need. I can’t wait to work on my character and make sure she comes along appropriately lol.”

“I was lucky enough to have Neil on the Hankie Pankie podcast as a guest recently to speak about some of the issues of acceptance and constant judgment we all face," commented Jewel, who hosts the "Hankie Pankie" podcast. "Freedom of speech is being taken away from artists and performers in every career path these days and we must all stand together as one against this. I love the theme of 'VanillaBeast,' how they’re going about it, and I’m happy to be a part of it.”

The Kickstarter campaign for "VanillaBeast: Ace in the Hole" offers a rewards program that includes everything from putting yourself in the game, creating custom characters, getting drawn by the company's cover artist with the adult star of your choice, to a full-sized heavy-duty retro arcade cabinet, with the icing on the cake being a meetup with the girls and team in Las Vegas.

"VanillaBeast: Ace in the Hole" will release in 2023 on Steam and major consoles. Fans can help back the game through the Kickstarter campaign here.
