CYBERSPACE—New cryptocurrency application PornRocket, launched just two weeks ago, announced that it is entering an agreement to acquire intimate.io, an established company specializing in blockchain-related payment systems for the adult industry.
Since its May 26 introduction, PornRocket has attracted over 50,000 coin holders, including superstar adult content creators Abella Danger and Nicole Aniston. PornRocket is a cryptocurrency token, currently developing a decentralised adult content sharing application which provides effective copyright protection for content creators, addresses privacy concerns of users, and abolishes hefty fees for sharing content.
As part of the new acquisition, Reuben Coppa, CEO and founder of intimate.io, will be joining PornRocket as a strategic advisor. Coppa is an entrepreneur with eight years of experience leading technology start-ups from mobile development to cryptocurrencies. He co-founded ABA technology Pty. Ltd. which developed blockchain software for consumers and ongoing support of the bitcoin.js library. ABA operated a bitcoin ATM network which was rolled out across Australia in 2013.

The acquisition is expected to close by July 15 and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
