LOS ANGELES—In Girlsway’s new scene, “Role Models: Making a Difference,” Sofi Ryan is on her first day of work at the hospital and being given a tour by Dr. Riley Reyes. Dr. Reyes came to speak at Ryan’s school and she was so inspired that she sought employment at the hospital. But today the doctor is a little less enthusiastic. Ryan asks what’s wrong.
“You’re the reason I’m here,” Ryan tells her.
“I have changed,” Dr. Reyes admits. “I guess I never think of myself that way.”
Ryan suggests she just needs someone to inspire her as they go in for a hug. Ryan asks if she ever gets time to herself, and the doctor says it’s been a long time. Ryan motions to an empty bed and says, “Maybe there’s a way you can do it here at work and not have to take time off.”
The doctor takes the new intern’s advice and soon is finding a new method of girl/girl relaxation. First hour on the job and Ryan has already found a way to help!
