'Sex Tech Connect' Discussion Group to Return for 2nd Season

CYBERSPACE—Adult industry attorney Maxine Lynn, founder of Sex Tech Connect, the online discussion group dealing with the sex tech industry, has announced the return of the group for Season 2, at which time it will welcome special guest Bryony Cole. The meeting will take place at Noon ET/9 a.m. PT on March 14, 2021. All members from the various verticals of the adult industry are invited to the virtual platform to chat about the future of sex and technology.

Cole will lead the discussion, drawing on her wealth of knowledge about sex tech and the industry. She is the creator and host of the top-rated Future of Sex podcast and Lovehoney's resident sextech advisor. She recently also launched Sextech School, a course for entrepreneurs looking to get started in sex tech.

“COVID-19 lockdowns catapulted the use of sex toys, with sales reportedly exponentially increasing across the board,” noted Lynn. “The adoption of sex toys by people shows no signs of stopping, and the tech will follow the growing demand. A discussion with Bryony and others in the industry will be a great and insightful dialogue.”

"The year 2021 is proving to be a breakout time for sex tech with so many new products and features launching,” explained Cole. “One of the rare bright spots of the pandemic has been the focus on intimacy. It's been incredibly exciting to hear how companies are innovating in response to lockdown. For example, the new focus on silencing toys is a direct result of feedback from toy-users who are living in close quarters with housemates, parents and is propelling industry standards further.”

During the online event, attendees will be able to speak directly with Cole as well as one another. People will come together from across the world to have a conversation, where they network, learn, and advocate for the industry. The discussion will be recorded and posted to the website for those who miss it.

“We at Sex Tech Connect are excited to continue on our mission to connect players in the sex tech industry from around the globe,” said Lynn. “This is the first event of many in the works for 2021.”
