NEW YORK—Pornhub announced it is sponsoring a digital health summit for Pineapple Support, an organization that focuses solely on the mental health of adult entertainment performers and provides them with 24/7 psychotherapy, counseling and emotional support.
“We’re excited to work with Pineapple Support again and sponsor their inaugural Pineapple Summit to help adult entertainment performers. Since our Pornhub Model Program launched a year and a half ago, we have watched our community grow to over 100,000-plus members. It’s especially important to us that we’re able to provide them, and others, with support and access to resources that they might not have otherwise,” said Corey Price, vice president Pornhub. “This summit is designed to continue the conversation about mental health, resilience and growth so that performers are equipped with the necessary tools to successfully pursue their careers. I hope people can tune in and take part.”
The inaugural Pineapple Summit, which takes place online on Oct.30-31, will focus on the wellbeing of adult performers. It will feature some of the top therapists and experts from around the globe discussing different aspects of mental and physical health, therapy and coping skills.
Occurring online, the Pineapple Support Summit will be releasing a series of seminar videos from some of the top therapists and experts in the world. The videos promote and encourage positive discussions on health—ranging from the effects of stigma to anxiety to how to recognize and cope with trauma—and after the Summit will be featured on Pornhub’s Sexual Wellness Center as part of the site’s new section dedicated to adult performers.

The organization focuses solely on mental health and provides 24/7 support for all persons working in the adult online media entertainment industry, without discrimination, judgement or stigma. Pineapple Support offers free and subsidized professional therapy sessions (psychotherapy, counseling and emotional support) and mental health advice. Last year, in honor of International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, Pornhub announced a partnership with Pineapple Support to provide its services to all adult performers in its Model Payment Program via PineappleSupport.com/.
