Webstream, the London-based adult tech company, has released the newest version of its widely-used camming software. This upgrade means that performers can now cam from their mobile or tablet devices on WiFi, 4G and 5G connections.
Webstream isn't a conventional cam platform; rather, it provides a simple widget that can be added to any website, giving performers the ability to cam directly from their own website. In addition to cam software, Webstream also provides a clip store, photo store and premium phone chat widgets, all of which can be added to any performer website.
The latest version of Webstream's cam software, known as LiveCam, has been redeveloped from the ground up. Thanks to iOS and Android updates, web apps like LiveCam can now access a mobile device's camera, making mobile camming possible. LiveCam takes advantage of new streaming technologies that bring lightning fast connections and the added benefit of TwoWay camming. Performers can still set their own prices for group and private chat, and payouts are still 75% weekly.
"In this day and age, more and more performers are becoming independent, thanks to the huge growth of social media," said a Webstream spokesperson. "Our software gives performers the independence to make more money by driving traffic to their own site. Our new cam platform has been developed over the past 18 months and is now ready for performers to enjoy the freedom of mobile camming."
LiveCam has been greatly improved across Windows and Mac computers and is now mobile across iOS and Android devices.
