Lustery Video Sharing Platform Launches With Couples in Mind

LOS ANGELES—Paulita Pappel has launched a new video sharing platform called Lustery as a different kind of porn experience.

"After scrolling through many different kinds of porn, I realized I most enjoyed watching sex videos that are not only made for the viewer, but where real people actually enjoy what they are doing," Pappel said. "Where there is a real connection and there can be laughs and things can go wrong, and that's ok."

This was the spark behind Lustery, which launched in late December as "The Home of Self Filmed Passion" with an emphasis on "genuine passion and realness."

The videos are all self-submitted by the community members themselves). Each video begins with the couples sitting down to introduce themselves to the community, recounting stories about how they met, their relationship, their sex life and just about anything else that they feel inclined to share.

"The magic of these videos is that when you hand the control back to couples, the action becomes organic, authentic and truly reflective of real life passion and lust," Pappel said.

In addition, each couple is given their own "profile," which includes their image gallery, video collection, basic info and a more in-depth write up about them and their relationship. Think Facebook, minus all the pesky content restrictions.

Once signed up, each user is given their own "My Lustery" hub. Here, they have their own News Feed, which gives updates on new couples, new videos and the latest updates from the Lustery blog. Users may then access features such as "Ask Lustery," which encourages users to submit questions and seek advice, all of which are answered personally by Paulita (sometimes even in video form).

There have been more than 50 submissions since its launch two weeks ago.
