CYPRESS, Calif.—OrbitalPay CEO Steve Bryson has plans to outdo the 60,000 meals delivered last year by his non-profit charitable organization, Never Forgotten Foundation, by delivering 100,000 meals to the Long Beach Rescue Mission last Friday.
Global Electronic Technology’s Phuong Huynh said today’s charity food donation marks the organization’s third annual event.
“Hopefully, it will inspire others to step up and give back, especially during the holiday season,” Huynh said.
Bryson's Never Forgotten Foundation was founded to provide resources to impoverished people around the world. Never Forgotten has sponsored the donations for three straight years.
According to the company, the directors of NFF chose the Long Beach Rescue Mission as a recipient for the donation because of their all-encompassing programs, which include assistance and counseling for victims of domestic violence as well as services for those suffering with drug and alcohol dependency. The organization serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, as well as provides shelter and clothes to the less fortunate in the community.
Bryson is founder of Orbital Pay's parent company, merchant account payment processor Global Electronic Technology Inc., and record label I55 Productions.
