ManyVids, a global leader in original and premium content, today introduced a new feature that allows people to stream adult entertainment on their personal computers and devices to reduce online piracy.
“We aim to maximize access to, and choices for, members to engage with our adult-content creators," said ManyVids developer Dehan. "It is important that we play an active role in raising awareness about the adverse effects of online piracy."
ManyVids said that they hope to discourage tube sites trying to profit from the hard work of others.
"If one of your vids ends up on another site or platform (we don’t have to name names, do we?), it should be because you decided to upload it there. Not because it was pirated," reads an explanation of the new service on the ManyVids website. "Worrying about piracy and monitoring the illicit distribution of your work shouldn’t be part of your job. And your pocketbook shouldn’t be made to suffer because people steal your work; companies generate a lot of income with stolen content. Where your content appears, who sees it, who profits from it—ManyVids wants you to have full control. We believe in your brilliant content. And we believe in your exclusive right to its distribution strategy."
“Our new secure streaming feature promises to offer legal and safe access to adult entertainment that will help fight against content theft globally. It is crucial that we remain vigilant about copyright protection so adult-content creators can thrive independently,” added Dehan.
