TAMPA, Fla.—Social media fan club Loyalfans.com has designated August 26, 2020 the first International Content Creators Day.
“2020 will go down in history as a year that changed the world as we knew it. And in light of huge shifts that have touched every person on the planet, we’ve come to realize an undeniable truth: We depend on content creators,” said Loyalfans’ co-founder Eduard A. Braileanu.

To celebrate International Content Creators Day, Loyalfans has three special initiatives planned: the “Two Truths/One Lie” challenge, the “Thank You For Being Loyal” campaign, and 100 percent payout day.
For the “Two Truths/One Lie” challenge, creators are invited to post a public video to their Loyalfans page telling two truths and one lie. Then, fans can comment to guess fact from fib, and creators can offer perks and prizes to up engagement.
Loyalfans will promote the videos on social media with the hashtags #Create4Loyalfans and #ICCD. Here are great examples of “Two Truths/One Lie” challenge videos from Tara Tainton, Nyssa Nevers and Long Toe Sally.
For the “Thank You for Being Loyal” campaign, Loyalfans has created a series of special videos highlighting some of the platform’s creators. These videos include messages from Mistress T, Charles Dera and more, and will be released between now and August 26, starting today with Siren SaintSin. Finally, Loyalfans is offering an annual 100 percent payout day on August 26. The 100 percent payout period starts at midnight August 26 UTC and runs through 11:59 pm UTC on the same day (check your current time zone relative to UTC here).
