Lily LaBeau Nominated for 2021 AVN Award for 'Cam_Girlfriend'

LOS ANGELESChaturbate.com, the live, interactive streaming platform, and Camming Life on Monday announced that Lily LaBeau is nominated for Mainstream Venture of the Year for the 2021 AVN Awards for her role in the web series Cam_Girlfriend.

LaBeau stars in the 10-episode comedy series Cam_Girlfriend. The show follows the life of a cam girl, Chloe (LaBeau), who is struggling to juggle her relationship with her boyfriend and her dedicated camming fans. Each episode uncovers a new comedic element of what a typical cam girl goes through in their day-to-day life. From losing internet signal and gifts from fans to dealing with competitors, Cam _Girlfriend gives viewers a look behind the curtain on life as a cam girl. The comedic show explores romance, technology, live connectivity, and love.

"Playing Chloe for Cam_Girlfriend has been a hilarious, wonderful journey. I believe it deserves all the praise and recognition times 1000! Chaturbate has really pioneered a new genre of sex-positive content with the teamwork of Ethan and Dan at CAMGF1 Productions," said Lily LaBeau.

“Camming was the perfect thing to make a web series about. It's a space full of hilarious stories. We really tried to approach the series the way Larry David would, by looking for all the quirky things that could happen in the camming world. We couldn't have had more fun making this show,” said the creators of Cam_Girlfriend

“Chaturbate is proud to be a sponsor of Cam_Girlfriend and help tell the fun and quirky stories that happen behind the cam. Our goal with supporting Camming Life and Cam_Girlfriend was to destigmatize and normalize sex work and camming specifically. Having the show be recognized by AVN, a leader in the adult industry, is a huge accomplishment and truly an honor,” said Shirley Lara, chief operating officer at Chaturbate

CAMGF1 Productions is the company behind Cam_Girlfriend. The series was created by Ethan Cole; directed by Daniel AM Rosenberg; written by Cole and Michael Goldlist and produced by Jason Kennedy and Rosenberg. The series was made possible thanks to the Independent Production Fund.
