SAN FRANCISCO—This Sunday, Kink.com will offer its first BDSM workshop with both online and offline components. Kink, which first began offering workshops at its San Francisco Armory headquarters in 2012, is now offering an online option for those who cannot attend in person.
The class, Creative Mindfuckery, will be led by well-known BDSM educator Danarama, a founder of the Two Knotty Boys, a duo that has been leading bondage workshops since 1999.
Danarama describes mindfuckery as “[using] what you learn about [partner’s] psychologically to create elements and toys that appeals to a very particular fear factor that they have. Because the more you get your partner into their head and out of the room, the faster it will be for you to take them to a place that is extremely significant for them emotionally and physically.”
Tickets to the event have sold quickly. Nic Rathert, who heads the company’s workshop program, attributes much of the success to Danarama, who “has been a force in the BDSM community for over two decades and has the most incredibly genius and twisted mind, and makes the material fun and accessible.”
Tickets for the live event, on Sunday, February 9, as well as its online component, are available at ArmoryStudios.com.
