The VR company said in its announcement that Aria’s fresh-faced good looks offer a perfect way to try out its leap forward in VR video quality, making the VR experience more immersive than ever.

"We’ve used brand new techniques so that the raw footage filmed on the VR cameras can be played on your VR headset without the need to re-encode it. This means there will be no reduction in quality and fewer distortions on the final video," said a company representative.

The scene was shot using the K1 Pro, and the company has begun using the same techniques with the more advanced K2 Pro for an upcoming solo VR scene, which will be followed by a boy/girl scene.

"The test footage from the K2 raws looks amazing and we can't wait to show it off!" the rep said.

SLR Originals plans to release new videos in the new fisheye format, as well as older ones.
