LOS ANGELES—QueerCrush, an award-nominated indie studio initially incubated by Elevated X, has stated its intent to depart from the investment firm's ELXComplete program this Spring.
AJ Hall, CEO of Elevated X, commended the studio's unique approach, stating, "QueerCrush, under the leadership of Electra Rayne and with impressive creative directorial and editorial contribution from Dahlia VonKnight, was a distinctive project for our company in recent years. It fit seamlessly into our corporate culture in ways few traditional or more established production brands have, and their blend of creativity and talent helped renew our vigor in the indie production movement.”
With its initial launch in mid-September, 2022, the collaboration led to significant milestones for QueerCrush, including its transformation from concept to a professional studio brand, its debut at Elevated X’s ELXComplete showcase booth at AVN in Las Vegas just four months later in 2023.
Elevated X recognizes the evolution of its clients' needs and supports their pursuit of preferred business models. Rayne credits Elevated X for its pivotal role in developing QueerCrush's website, highlighting the support in overcoming typical startup barriers.
Concluding the partnership, Hall adds, “Without six-figure expenditure, I’m not sure I have seen a company achieve this kind of growth or success inside of 16 months. It’s unheard of. Elevated X takes pride in the growth and accomplishments of Rayne and QueerCrush and their incredibly passionate and talented team. This partnership has been a valued addition to our two-decade legacy of nurturing brands from their inception to market leadership and we’re proud to have played our part in helping them on their business journey.”
