Clips4Sale Donates, Asks Others to Aid Hurricane Harvey Relief

TAMPA—After seeing news reports of the damage in Houston and surrounding areas from Hurricane Harvey, Clips4Sale owner Neil donated $50,000 to the Red Cross, and now is is asking others in the industry to help out as well.

“This is what is expected from the No. 1 downloadable clips site—you give back,” said Neil. “So many people have been affected by this, including many of our producers and models. Our industry is full of some very generous people who can empathize with what these people are going through. I hope other business owners will be as generous as they can, and even match their employees’ contributions.”

Hurricane Harvey was a Category 4 storm that touched down in Texas on Aug. 25. More than 50 inches of rain have fallen and widespread flooding has caused several deaths; there have been more than 13,000 rescues; and ore than 30,000 people are displaced from their homes. This is the worst disaster in Texas history, and once the floodwaters are cleared, many people won’t have anywhere to go home to.

Go to the Red Cross website to make a donation, or donate to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund here. Also, there are many animals who are displaced or need to be rescued. The Humane Society is stepping up their efforts and you can give to them here.
