LONDON, England -- Social networking website SocialGO launched Zocku.com this month, a dedicated platform for creating monetized adult social networks.
Zocku has been setup specifically for enterprising individuals that want to build adult communities online. Members can create profiles, blogs and exachange comments on message boards, share videos, plus participate in online and video chat services provided by Zocku, and use all common social networking functionality.
Creators of these social networks can design and configure the experience for their niche, add their own custom content and even develop their own applications using the Zocku API. Network owners can monetize their communities by charging a subscription fee for user access, placing relevant ads on the pages, and will soon be able to create premium areas on their networks in order to encourage people to subscribe.
There are already hundreds of adult social network communities on the Zocku platform, some with over 30,000 members generating in excess of $5,000 a month in ad revenue and membership fees. Zocku believes that niche social networks are the perfect way to monetize adult content online and represents a huge opportunity for existing adult networks to expand their offering and for new networks to get up and running in a matter of minutes.
"My network, Ruffkin.com, has increased functionality, more value added benefits and as a result my membership base has more than doubled since Ruffkin.com moved to Zocku.com," said Tim Morton. "The affiliate income has also increased exponentially. The move has created a more complete and satisfying experience for Ruffkin's members. Zocku's administration section has eased the demands of running a social network compared to every platform I tried in the past."
