MONTREAL—Following successful pit stops in Phoenix and Barcelona, the popular YNOT Grand Prix championship kart-racing series will race into Montreal for its third straight appearance at the Qwebec Expo.
The races in Montreal take place Aug. 6 at Kart-O-Mania, with buses set to leave the Marriott Chateau Champlain at 4 p.m.
"I love that such a fun event like the YNOT GP is returning to Montreal," said Qwebec Expo Chief Executive Officer Michel Plant. "We've gotten nothing but positive feedback from our attendees about this event, and the YNOT team really puts a lot of effort into making sure it's a good time for everyone."
Those who plan to race in Montreal can look forward to one of the most challenging tracks in the 2015 YNOT GP circuit. Kart-O-Mania is well known as one of Montreal's premiere kart racing facilities, boasting modern features like electronic scoreboards and timing equipment that's capable of recording each drivers race times down to a fraction of a second. Spectators can cheer for their favorite drivers, network with other attendees, or enjoy entertainment options like pool tables and virtual racing games.
All attendees will be treated to a complimentary buffet and beverages, provided by the GP's sponsors JuicyAds, DatingFactory, BaDoinkCash, WellHello, FNCash, Dyn.com and iCAN4Consumers.
"If you need transportation to the event, please plan to be on time for the bus which leaves from the hotel at 4 p.m." said Jay Kopita, vice president of sales for YNOT and organizer of the YNOT GP events. "There will be return transportation back to the hotel at two different times, once for those who need to leave a little early and then again at the end of the races, sometime around 7:30 p.m.”
Now in its sixth successful season, the YNOT Grand Prix international racing series awards trophies to the top three finishers at each event as determined by the best times in a final exciting "death match." Every year, component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst fierce, but friendly, competition. The final event of the 2015 season will take place Sept. 22 in Prague as a kick off event to The European Summit.
