PHOENIX—When JuicyAds presents the YNOT Grand Prix April 3 in Phoenix, the company will have more than just a marketing presence at the race: JuicyAds founder and President Juicy Jay is a perennial—and perennially savage—competitor. Normally outgoing and jocular, the man becomes a snarling beast behind the wheel of a souped-up go-kart.
“The YNOT Grand Prix is a lot of fun,” he said, adopting a feral grin. “But fair warning: If you get in my way on the track, I’m going to run you into the wall and laugh all the way to the finish line.”
For the third consecutive year, the third leg of the adult industry’s championship kart-racing series will take place at Octane Raceway (formerly F1 Race Factory) as a sanctioned opening event for The Phoenix Forum, one of the adult online industry’s favorite annual get-togethers. Billed as “America’s largest indoor kart-racing venue,” Octane boasts two quarter-mile-long indoor tracks laced with switchbacks and straight-aways designed to keep drivers clutching the wheel no matter their experience level. Complimentary food and beverages add to the fun.
“The facility is the nicest of all the YNOT Grand Prix tracks—great party room and great food,” said YNOT Vice President LAJ, who organizes and attends every race. “I love this facility. Phoenix actually is my favorite YGP of the year.”
It’s also one of the best attended, he added. More than 75 raving lunatics are expected to take part in the adrenaline-soaked competition. A shuttle driver with nerves of steel will ferry them back and forth between the track and The Phoenix Forum’s headquarters at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel beginning at 5:45 p.m. and continuing until the event ends around 10 p.m.
“The Phoenix Forum [running April 4-7 this year] has a special place in my heart,” Juicy Jay said. “It was my first show in 2008 when JuicyAds premiered. It’s the best-run and one of the best-attended shows in the industry, and I never miss it. The YNOT Grand Prix’s Phoenix debut happened in 2011 with JuicyAds as a sponsor, and we continue to support the race today. The Grand Prix is a true highlight and definitely worth the trip.
“JuicyAds will be on hand to talk with potential clients and secure sweet traffic deals,” he added.
Guaranteed to rev drivers’ and spectators’ engines, the YNOT Grand Prix awards trophies to the top three finishers at each event as determined by a final “death match.” Every year, component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst fierce competition. After Phoenix, two more races round out the 2013 season: Montreal in August and Budapest in September.
The YNOT Grand Prix Phoenix, presented by JuicyAds, is sponsored by 2000Charge, Dating Factory, FN Cash, LabelSex, RIVCash, BadoinkCash, Kimia.mobi and WebcamWiz. For more information or to secure a seat among the drivers, visit YNOTgp.com, email [email protected] or ping ICQ 92418228.
