HOUSTON—YNOT Group LLC has announced that it changed the name of its annual adult internet trade conference from "Cybernet Expo" to "YNOT Summit." The move is meant to highlight the company's role in the long-running gathering of adult internet professionals, and also to represent more accurately the nature of the event to attendees.
"The Cybernet Expo name was established in 1997, and it was the perfect name at the time," explained Connor Young, President and CTO of YNOT Group LLC. "We feel it is the right time to make a clearer connection between the summer show and the YNOT brand. Also, while the show actually started as an 'expo' in 1997, it really has evolved over the years into a 'summit' as it adapted to the preferences of the industry and of our supporters."
YNOT Summit will take place in downtown San Francisco, the heart of America's thriving technology industry, from June 23–25. The show will feature its usual industry leading classes and seminars, but will be enhanced in 2011 with additional activities designed to facilitate business networking in fun and entertaining new ways.
As with previous years, a discount rate will be offered for early registration. A completely new YNOT Summit website will be launched in mid-March, and online registration will open at that time. In the meantime, individuals who are interested in receiving email news about YNOT Summit can add their name to the mailing list by visiting www.ynotsummit.com.
Companies interested in sponsorship opportunities at YNOT Summit 2011 are asked to contact LAJ at [email protected]. More details about YNOT Summit will be announced throughout the months of March and April.
