CYBERSPACE - The owners of XXXMySpace.net are putting the domain up for auction at Sedo.com.
"With myspace and other social networking sites being so popular, the growing trend of these types of sites is spreading to the adult industry," the owners said. "There are no short domain names for an adult MySpace-type site left, and what better could you find than XXXMySpace.net."
The owners said the domain recently was appraised at more than $225,000, making it one of the most valuable adult domains currently on the market. They also said they plan to donate a small percentage of the proceeds to various charities and will take about 5 percent of the profits to launch the careers of aspiring adult stars who need a financial boost to get the exposure they need to be successful.
