Vivid Radio Hosts Want To Hit A Home Run With Alex Rodriguez

LOS ANGELES—The baseball season has barely started but the hosts of turn-on radio network VividRadio.com have conducted their own survey to determine which major league baseball player they would “most like to hit a home run with.” The clear majority chose New York Yankees’ star Alex Rodriguez.

The survey of the hosts of the naughty talk programs showed that 55 percent favored a run around the bases with A-Rod and were not scared off by either his bad boy rep or reports of steroid use.

The next most desirable players in the survey were: Mike Trout, center fielder with the California Angels, who got 20 percent of the votes; Giancarlo Stanton, outfielder with the Miami Marlins, who got 10 percent. Matt Kemp, outfielder with the San Diego Padres; Matt Harvey, pitcher for the New York Mets; and Bryce Harper outfielder for the Washington Nationals each got 5 percent.

Several of the gorgeous radio hosts have already met professional players.  Mary Carey recalled that Melky Cabrera with the Chicago White Sox “had a huge bat that I got to play with” and Sam Phillips said catcher Mickey Tettleton, who was with the Oakland Athletics, “is just the nicest man in the whole world.”
