TopBucks Mobile to Offer Second Adult Mobile Workshop at XBIZ L.A.

CYBERSPACE—Following on the heels of the company’s successful adult mobile workshop at Internext in January, TopBucks Mobile has announced that it will conduct a similar workshop at the XBIZ L.A. conference on Wednesday, February 10.

“The feedback we received from our first mobile workshop has been very positive, and we were able to answer a lot of questions from attendees that can be very difficult to figure out on your own,” said Lea Busick, Director of Marketing for TopBucks Mobile.

For the second edition of its mobile workshop, TopBucks Mobile is drawing on experts from outside the company, as well, bringing in GTSMobi.com President Mark Hurson, and Mitch Farber, President of NetBilling.

“I’m looking forward to the workshop and to adding my perspective on the traffic portion of the mobile equation,” Hurson said. “We’ve been working closely with TopBucks as a mobile partner for some time now, and lending a hand with the workshop is a great extension of that strategic partnership.”

For his part, Farber hopes to put to rest any remaining skepticism webmasters and site operators have about the viability of the adult mobile market.

“I still hear people expressing doubt about the adult mobile market all the time, and as a guy who sees the billing numbers day in and day out, I’m here to tell you that this market is very real,” Farber said. “Hopefully, I can help the panel drive that point home at the workshop, and we can get more people on board with developing their own mobile revenue stream.”

Busick said that the addition of Hurson and Farber reflects an effort to “make this a collaborative effort and broaden the areas of expertise among the panelists.”

“As good as our first workshop was, we’re confident this one will be even better with the addition of two industry heavy-hitters like Mark and Mitch,” Busick said. “With a respected traffic broker and major processor on board, we can address traffic and billing questions with greater authority, and bring in a new perspective to augment the expertise our own team brings to the table.”

To add extra incentive to attend the workshop, TopBucks Mobile will be giving away “surprise techy gifts” at the end of the session, Busick said.

“The giveaway is something we’re doing to sweeten the deal of sitting in on the workshop, and our way of saying thanks for coming,” Busick said. “The real value of the workshop will be in the information the panel imparts, of course; getting a prize in the bargain is just a little sugar on top.”
