LOS ANGELES—Adult performer/producer Tasha Reign has been nominated for multiple AVN Awards, including a Best Star Showcase nod for her film, Reign Over Me, and an additional nom for Best Solo/Tease Performance. Nominations for Best Editing and Best Editing under Reign’s studio, Reign Productions, highlight Reign's behind-the-scenes prowess and validates her triple-threat status.
“Aside from my directing and starring in Reign Over Me, the film was also inspired by some of my sexiest thoughts and fantasies,” said Reign. “It was definitely thrilling to create, and for it to be nominated for two AVN Awards is beyond exhilarating! Tasha Reign and Reign Productions earned a combined five nominations, with Best Solo/Tease Performance honoring Tasha’s work as a performer and a filmmaker.
The Best Star Showcase nomination, which considers all sex scenes from one individual performer in a particular film, underscores Reign's reputation as one of the most passionate, enthusiastic and empowered performers in the business.
Reign’s nominated film, Reign Over Me is vignette-feature starring and directed by Reign. Distributed by Girlfriend Films, the movie showcases Reign in five of her most playfully erotic fantasies, and co-star adult performers Ryan Driller, Keni Styles, Scott Lyons and Bruce Venture. In the vignettes, Reign seduces her yoga instructor, a delivery boy, her boyfriend, and the guy she’s cheating with, in sexy scenes that appeal to a wide variety of consumers. The DVD also includes a behind-the-scenes featurette and photo gallery.
The AVN Awards is one of the biggest nights in adult entertainment, bestowing honors upon the top earners and achievers in porn. The 32nd annual ceremony will be hosted at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on January 24, 2015.
