“Evolution of Piracy” will address the ways that piracy and fraud have changed the way online adult businesses are operated, as well as how content producers and website owners can protect themselves on the front-end from fraud, while maintaining control over pirated content. Panelists will also discuss the course of action to take when filing a DMCA notice has not been effective in removing infringing content. Strategies and steps for minimizing fraud and dealing with piracy will also compose the hour session.
The format of the panel is a roundtable concept, where Glass and the panelists will sit with attendees in order to encourage interactive discussions within the context of the session. The panelists will include Piracy Stops Here’s Peter Phinney, CCBill’s Jeffrey Adams, Titan Media’s Keith Webb, Battleship Stance’s Jason Tucker and Eric Hegan.
“I’m really excited to engage both the panelists and the audience in an in-depth talk about piracy,” stated Glass. “I truly believe cooperation, discussion, and education are the keys to successfully countering all the harm piracy has done to the entertainment industry, and the Phoenix Forum provides a great opportunity for this.”
