CANOGA PARK, Calif. -- The Free Speech Coalition has announced that two of its affiliated vendors are now providing production insurance for adult crews.
After a major insurance underwriter stopped underwriting policies for adult industry productions at the end of last year, the FSC received several requests from producers to find insurance brokers that would provide needed production insurance.
"I suspected that the production insurance hole would be filled in short order," said FSC Executive Director Diane Duke. "Our producers pay their premiums and have very few claims. Underwriting production insurance with the adult industry makes good business sense and I'm glad we were able to help our members and the industry make the connection."
Now currently writing production insurance is Johnathan G. Woolworth, a licensed agent for FSC-affiliated vendor Assurety NW Insurance & Bonding, who can be reached at (503) 205-8136. The company's offices are located in Portland, Ore. For more information, visit the Assurety website.
The other vendor is licensed agent Alon Ben-Nun representing C.M. Meiers Co. Inc, with offices located in Woodland Hills, Calif. The company provides a full menu of insurance products for adult businesses. Ben-Nun can be contacted at (818) 224-6194 or [email protected].
In addition, FSC-affiliated vendor Lockton insurance agent Alan Stearns said that he is in the process of writing a policy and is confident he will be able to write production insurance as well. Lockton is the world's largest privately owned insurance brokerage, with offices located globally. The company has offered FSC members a variety of insurance products for several years. Stearns can be contacted at (213) 689-0065 or [email protected].
