Private Announces Gamelink Managed Services Deal with Blissbox

BARCELONA, SpainPrivate Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GM: PRVT) has announced its property GameLink.com has acquired its fourth major managed services deal this year to manage the video-on-demand business of an established adult e-tailer using their flexible ecommerce and VoD platform. PMG announced early in 2009 that it would open its global distribution channels and internet sales platform on GameLink.com to other brands, and Blissbox.com, a UK website launched in 2002, is the latest in a string of companies to leverage the asset.

GameLink.com is providing a custom white-label VoD solution to Blissbox.com that will accept multiple currencies. In addition to the white-label custom catalog, GameLink.com will manage services including personalized merchandising, promotions and advanced email campaign management. Blissbox’s deal with GameLink.com has allowed them to greatly increase the number of adult movie titles offered and expand on the formats the films are available in, and since the launch Blissboxvod.com has quickly surpassed all expectations with very high conversion rates to sales and new customers.

 “We selected GameLink.com because they have a superior video player to all other VoD providers,” Mike Carroll from Blissbox.com said. “Add to this their ability to manage and market our entire VoD platform and we knew this would be a successful relationship. Sales out of the box have shown this was the right choice.”

GameLink.com’s enterprise ecommerce platform was developed over the past eight years using ATG Dynamo as the core ecommerce engine. The system is widely considered to be the most sophisticated, flexible solution in the industry and was only recently made available to other brands. GameLink.com’s managed services solution is much like a market vertical for the solutions that amazon.com provides by extending its platform to other brands, only GameLink.com’s platform comes with additional services such as search engine marketing, search engine optimization, personalized merchandising, promotions and advanced email campaign management services. PMG offers the only complete global content distribution and sales solution in the adult industry.

Private Media Group acquired eLine Inc., a systems integration and professional services firm as part of a January deal that included the acquisition of GameLink LLC, a major US VoD platform. eLine designed and built the GameLink platform and was responsible for many major mainstream systems, including work for some of the largest publishers and most recognized luxury brands in the world (see eline.com). The acquisition helped enable PMG’s strategy to transition from a single brand-driven production and distribution enterprise to the industry’s only full-service global content distribution and sales solution.
