LAS VEGAS, Nevada — On February 20, 2014, the developers of PornStarTweet.com will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the launch of PornStarTweet by officially launching and becoming Star.xxx.
From its inception, PornStarTweet, which eventually expanded to encompass 12 different niches and become known as The Naughty Tweet Network, has been focused on expanding the adult entertainment audience through social media, as well as in person at events and appearances. With more than 750,000 active Twitter followers and in excess of 100 million monthly impressions, PornStarTweet has remained a leading social media platform in adult entertainment. A sponsor of every major adult entertainment consumer expo, including AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, Exxxotica, AdultCon and more; and playing host to multiple events around the country, that success and reach has allowed expansion in other area, including the acquisition of Tattle.xxx in 2013.

When we launched Porn Star Tweet, it was 100 percent focused on Twitter and over the years we’ve come to embrace other platforms, so for some time we’ve been looking to move away from the word ‘tweet’. As we researched options to freshen and expand our brand two concepts kept coming up — Star and xxx; the leap from there wasn’t difficult -- and Star.xxx was born.”
Star.xxx is more than a name change. The entire product is being developed from scratch and will include a slew of new features that have been in development for more than a year. Star.xxx will maintain a strong focus on Social Media in a new, re-imagined, format that will integrate media in a new format and, for the first time, Star.xxx has been uniquely developed to leverage Search Engine and Social Media. The platform will also be integrated with adult entertainment platforms, news sites and other sources to offer a single source for individual talent. Star.xxx will also continue the long tradition of working with a wide array of genres including BBW, Fetish, Gay, Tranny and more. The platform will offer numerous genre focused advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
Star.xxx's first public showing will be this weekend in Las Vegas at the 2014 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, where the company will play host to multiple stars in its booth and be the host of the annual Porn Star Bingo charity event on Friday night.
