PPVMania Dealing with Slow Access Issues Days Before Parody Fight

LOS ANGELES—With just a day before the pay-per-view porn parody Webcast of the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, the website where the event will be featured, PPVMania.com, has been experiencing some slow loading issues and at times porn fans that come to the site get diverted to PPV Mania's registrar for some unexplained reason.

"Its been a very frustrating situation," said promoter/producer of the event Chris Jaye. "In the beginning when it started we were not clear exactly what was going on.  We would have customers in a small part of Florida telling us that they couldn't view the site, yet customers in other parts of the country that had no issues getting on whatsoever.

"The biggest issue was the website's really slow loading time that would occur from time to time," Jaye added. "A diagnostic check was done by both our registrar and hosting company, even though none of them can confirm where the virus attack started, we did get confirmation that there is some sort of cyber-attack going on with respect to our website."

Jaye said he's not sure if ShowTime, Team Pacquiao or Team Mayweather knew about the porn parody, scheduled to debut tomorrow on PPV Mania, but apparently certain Twitter fans did send tweets directly to Team Mayweather about the event.

Chris Jaye is assuring fans that everything is being done to protect the website from any further "attacks."

"We are working with our host to make sure that everything is stabilized so we can give our customers a great show on our PPV Mania website network," Jaye promised.
