CYBERSPACE—A porn culture magazine called Le Tag Parfait has just launched a new English version, enabling English speakers from around the world to "access content such as our study on the masturbating habit of the Youporn Generation or our article about Clips4Sale,' the company said in an announcement issued Tuesday.
Le Tag Parfait, an online magazine dealing with porn culture, has seen success in France since launching in 2010. Created by Stephen des Aulnois, Le Tag Parfait was initially meant to be a blog dedicated to porn. However, it quickly gained in reputation with articles, reports and interviews that made the website a model in porn culture, dealing equally with porn industry as with investigative journalism.
"A particular subculture has appeared with the rise of pornography on the internet endowed with its own codes and operational modes: porn culture," explained the company in its announcement. "A wide community has gathered around those codes, values and rituals which are in opposition to buttoned-down society. This community has grown and invaded the very popular culture. Girl Next Door, BDSM, MILF, bondage aren’t limited anymore to insiders.
"This approach to engage the pornographic universe as a real way of life is part of the new generation," it added. "This generation is looking for a new perspective on the topic without taboo and conformism. Le Tag Parfait is heavily influenced by the last consumer trends, and open minded to other cultural influences (music, literature, art, sociology). The online magazine’s aim is to get porn out from under its marginalization in the media, loosen up its consumption and render a more pop and mainstream image."
Le Tag Parfait's demographic is 18 to 30 year olds, half of whom are female, and all of whom are cultivated and naturally aligned with the digital universe. Editing Le Tag Parfait in English will enable an international audience to develop.
"We will be able to expand our influence and make the partnerships and collaborations more easy," said the company. "Feel free to share and spread the information. If you have a look at our unique content, it may interest you to speak about it."
In English now as well as French.
