HERNDON, Va.—Network Solutions has met ICM Registry’s criteria for registrar accreditation for the .XXX domain extension.
“Meeting these criteria allows Network Solutions to move forward with entering into a Registry-Registrar Agreement with the ICM Registry,” the company said.
“We are excited to have Network Solutions on board at this early stage,” said ICM Registry COO Russell King. “Their consistent delivery and expertise has made them an important partner for us. Network Solutions was the first Registrar to meet our accreditation requirements.”
The announcement regarding Network Solutions was originally made May 5, two days before the announcement that German registrar Key-Systems also has been accredited for the new top-level domain.
Domainmoster.com has also announced its appointment as a .XXX registrar.
