Top-ranked video-on-demand site NakedSword.com today announced that it will be hosting a VIP after-party to take place following the GAYVN Awards on Feb. 24.
The party, which will be held at the Kink.com Porn Palace in San Francisco, will be sponsored by Kink.com and Epoch Billing. With its medieval dungeons, austere jail cells, and rustic horse stables, the Porn Palace makes an evocative location to hold the party, which is being held to honor both GAVYN Award nominees and winners.
“Our producers deserve a kick-ass party,” said NakedSword President Tim Valenti in a press release. “We’re thrilled that GAYVN has moved this celebration of sex and depravity to San Francisco. We’re preparing a night that will knock your jocks off.”
For Kink.com, the party represents the chance for the company to reaffirm its commitment to gay traffic. “Kink.com has been an integral part of the San Francisco adult community for the past 10 years, as have NakedSword and the host of other gay studios located in the city,” said the company’s vice president of marketing, Reena Patel. “We’re extremely dedicated to our community and the gay side of the industry. That said, Kink.com is excited about the GAYVN Awards and the opportunity to reaffirm this dedication.”
Valenti said NakedSword also will be working with the San Francisco chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to raise money for several charities, including the Free Speech Coalition, the STOP AIDS Project, and the St. James Infirmary. Several major gay adult studios—including Falcon, COLT, Raging Stallion, All Worlds, Hot House, Factory Videos, Lucas Entertainment, and Studio 2000—have pledged their participation.
“We’re proud to host such a wide array of talented individuals,” Valenti said. “We’ve got a great industry, a porn-friendly city, and a fantastic space. We want to show the world not only that our industry knows how to have fun, but that it’s got a heart, as well.”
